Etesian Gallery invited the couple to live and work in Menorca to compose and paint this unique collection inspired by the landscapes, texture and feel of the Island.  Lovers Talk 2 is the second volume of this collaboration, it is made in conversation between the two as they converse between sound and image.

The residency was one month long that ended with an exhibition and live event with a multi course dinner in Lithica.

The Artists daily routine consisted of waking up discussing the project over coffee and walking to the gallery where they both are in residence and begin to compose and paint. Sara upstairs painting and drawing whilst Zuk is downstairs composing in the cave. Taking breaks visiting each other studio looking and listening to the work the two converse in what each other are making and what is influencing the work as in realtime. After a long day's work they take an afternoon break where they choose a new destination of a different beach where they listen and "drive test" music composed and let the landscape inform the work. These small rituals are important to the process as it informs the music and paintings in how the two are capturing their work.

Sara Marlowe Hall's paintings are all based on landscapes in Menorca. The paintings have linear lines and blocks of color that reference the countryside and deep blues of the Balearic Sea. Her plaster paintings reference the soil, plants, red rocks, blue sea and rusty sand. Her daily routine of going to different beaches influence the paintings, depending on the long countryside roads, forest sand beaches, or rock slab plunge pools. Each painting creates a new landscape, through the painters' eyes. The titles give reference to specific settings, forming a direct link to the special bond formed between the artist and the island.

To end the residency, Bettina owner of Etesian curated the exhibition of Sara's paintings opening with large landscapes and small studies accompanied with recorded soundscapes by Zuk. The opening event continued with a live performance by Zuk at Lithica, in a natural quarry where the two would draw inspiration from. Chef Humo a local chef in Menorca, curated a multi course dinner where he created a sensory overload  of dishes inspired by what grew in the quarry paired  with wine.  A night where all senses come together, people gathered and enjoyed music, food, nature and art.
